Who can be members..

    Firms proposing to become a member of the Association should fulfil the criteria and apply in one of the five categories mentioned below.
  1. a.Manufacturing company : Defined as a company manufacturing wood working machines / related tooling in India.
  2. b.Trading company : Defined as a company trading in wood working machines / related tooling.
  3. c.Associate member : Defined as the representative of a multinational company, not registered in India, but providing services for sales / service of machines / tooling.
  4. d.Honorary member : Defined and considered on a case to case basis.
  5. e.Institutional member : Institutions, private or in the public sector, engaged in research in the field of wood working and related wood based products.
  6. NOTE: Founder members will register either under categories a or b above.

    Other such requirements:
  • Membership is limited to organisations / companies engaged in the manufacture or trading of wood working machines and related tooling.
  • The organisation / company must be registered in the Republic of India.
  • Members in categories a and b as above will be considered full members and shall have full voting rights.
  • Members in categories c, d and e as above will not have voting rights.

Other such requirements for membership..

    Organisations / companies shall be eligible and considered for membership on completion of the required formalities as detailed below:
  • Receipt of application form duly filled in and complete with necessary additional documents.
  • Payment of membership joining fee and subscription for one year.
  • Admission as member will be at the discretion of the Executive Committee.

Why IWMMTA

  • The Association would collectively voice concerns of the industry and members to the various Government bodies.
  • To organise educational trade trips to different parts of India and abroad.
  • To disseminate information on new technologies and facilitate transfer through joint ventures or collaborations.
  • Organise seminars and similar events to promote the products of members.
  • To facilitate training of personnel at various levels to ease the shortage of skilled manpower in the industry.

Guidelines for annual Fee

    Points of note for fee and subscription
  • Debit note for membership annual subscription fee for the financial year to be issued to all members in the first week of April every year.
  • Members must pay the subscription within and not later than 3 months from date of debit note. 3 months.
  • Membership benefits / privileges will be stopped / discontinued for such members whose payment is not received by 31st July of the year for which it is due.
  • Members whose subscription payment continues to be outstanding beyond 31 October every official year will be automatically removed from Membership of the Association.

  • Company registration certificate.
  • Company PAN card.
  • Company GST registration certificate.
  • Photo of person authorised to represent the Company ( 2 No’s ).
